Potentiometer... Frustrating!!!

tuesday... as usual 2day is chem exp day but last exp 4 stpm chem... we upper 6 science students go lab n do exp... well, 2day my group's exp is determining emf of a cell usin a potentiometer... its 1 frustrating exp i tell u!!! The results r so erratic!!! So, it started like dis... i take da potentiometer n im nt really sure hw 2 use it... its embarassing considerin im a physics student!!! (im da oni physics student in my group... the rest r all bio students) As usual... i can say im char siew pau ma... when comin 2 anythin physics like wat we all physics student wil usually sheepishly say (brainwashed by our dear physics tcher... :P) But dis is nt da case as im nt around when we r doin potentiometer during physics exp... so, here i am tryin 2 set da potentiometer but i got it set up anyway... wif help frm my fellow group members...

ok... all set up n we r ready 2 start...dis is da really infurating part... we hv 2 test wif different concentration of zinc sulphate labelled KA 1,2,3,4,5 n 6...n figure out da length of da potentiometer wif a jockey... i do all da until i reach KA 5 using da same salt bridge... nt realising we hv 2 change da salt bridge after every experiment!!! Sigh... my fault la... nvr read da procedure properly...So, here we go again... repeatin da experiment again due 2 my carelessness... thx salbiah... 4 alertin me bout my mistake... :) I thought repeating da exp is nt too bad as da results we obtained r gila gila anyway... but after repeatin da exp... the results i think r even crazier... up dwn... up dwn. I end up havin 2 change sum of da values 2 be able 2 draw da graph n my poor group members hv 2 troublesomely liquid n change da values which r otherwise impossible 2 be plotted into a proper graph... anyway, would like 2 thk my dear group member 4 helpin n being patient wif me n my occasional crankiness during all these experiments we do 2gather... n other frenz who r realli nice 2 help us abit 2 do our exp... n not 4gettin our beloved chem tcher too!!! ;) In dis potentiometer exp... thk goodness da questions given r simple n nt much explaining 2 do... so, we manage 2 finish our exp fast n no need 2 stay back despite the troubles 2day.

Dis mornin... i, grace n a few frenz r standin at da tapak pehimpunan yackin away... n our english tcher wanna park her car n suddenly gostan her car facing straight 2 us!!!(but of coz din crash us la... :) ) We were standin there like de stunned elves in da elf's bowling i play in my comp... waitin 2 be hit by a bowling ball...Wah!!! be careful tcher... we wanna be alive n sit 4 stpm!!! xP Nah... im exaggeratin it... it nothin actually... jux its quite funny n we can laugh bout it afterwards!!! ^^

5 more dayz 2wards de official retirement date 4 me, n my fellow form 6ers n form 5ers as prefects of smkbl!!! Lookin 4ward 2 dat day!!! :D
